Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, founded in 2002, is a full-time undergraduate fine arts university with art discipline as its main subject and design discipline as its development focus. It is one of the nine independent academies of fine arts in China.The academy covers an area of 4,690,000 square meters with a total construction area of 643,200 square meters, and be with 1,640,000 books in the library, 31000 undergraduate and junior college students.

The academy adheres to open education and actively carries out foreign exchanges and cooperation. It has established long-term cooperative relations with 40 universities in more than 100 countries, such as Russia, The United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea, Italy and so on, in scientific research, academic exchanges, teachers' advanced study, students' training and so on. 

The academy continues to optimize the campus education environment and enhance the taste of campus culture.The campus has a beautiful environment and a combination of Chinese and Western architecture, including the European water town and the Jiangnan water town, making it an ideal palace for students to learn and appreciate art. The north area is dominated by ancient Chinese architecture, which embodies the poetic and pictorial meaning of classical gardens. The southern district is dominated by European architecture, fully showing the magnificence of western architecture.
